Information we process

CareerCue stores your name, email address, password hash, target role, uploaded resume file and extracted resume text, subscription status, and detected interview questions and answer cues. We do not store the short meeting-audio files handled by the application.

How the service works

When you deliberately share a meeting tab with audio, short audio segments are sent to the configured OpenAI service for transcription. Detected questions, your role, and relevant resume text are sent to OpenAI to create answer cues. Provider processing is governed by its terms and data controls. Do not share meeting audio unless participants have agreed and applicable rules permit it.

Payments

Stripe processes checkout and billing information. CareerCue stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status, but not full payment-card details.

Storage and security

Application records and resume files are stored on persistent infrastructure used to operate the service. Passwords are hashed. HTTPS, secure cookies, CSRF protection, and access controls are used, but no service can promise absolute security.

Retention and choices

We retain account data while your account is active and as needed for security, billing, and legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion through the support page. Cancel an active subscription through Stripe billing before requesting account deletion.
